The climax of the story
The climax of this story is when the officers found the children and relief them.
Ralph was escaping from the group of Jack. They were chasing him to kill him. And they make big fire on the island. Simon and Piggy already died and Jack trys to kill the remained one, Jack. All of them, alreay lost their mind, forget all the common sense, even forget the value of life, with out any emotions, killing. But when the adults arrive, they stop, and confused. Before they came to the boys, so many things (include killling) happened to them but adults can't even imagine what they did. The child were try to murder and made fire, but the adults only think it as some kind of play or game. SO, to children and us, reader, all the things that happened are very huge things. But in the officer's point-of-view, it's nothing. And all the conflicts they had being buried. The conflicts buried in themselves and it will be forgotten memory.

I agree, that the officer didn't know the whole story of the children. When he heard they were dead he probably thought that they died cause of starvation or just died of a fatal accident right?
When the climax happened, honestly it didn't really please me because i wanted something big to happen but it didn't happen!
